Is he man or machine?
Giles Nevill has been busy rasing funds and awareness for VWD by rowing the same distance as the London Marathon again this year.
Giles completed his second (and "last" !) marathon row of 42.195 km on a Concept 2 rowing machine in a time of 3 hours, 13 minutes and 15 seconds - and faster than last year too.
He completed his marathon row at home in France - sadly Giles couldn't secure the same pitch from last year next to Tower Bridge and the London Marathon; Potters Fields Park wanted to charge a huge amount of money to complete the challenge which could not be justified.
Well done again Giles and thank you for rasing over £3000 in the process. Now what did he say about "never again?......."
