Expert in Mind

Expert in Mind manages mental health assessments for individuals and families involved in court proceedings so we are well aware of the impact that mental health has on people’s lives. As for the canine side, they have two office dogs and have had a number of foster dogs in the office over the years. They are fabulous to have in the office and the difference they can make to people’s lives is immeasurable. And last but definitely not least, Expert in Mind have worked on a number of cases involving veterans, one of their lead Psychiatric Experts is the medical director of an armed forces charity and several of them have family who have served in the armed forces, so are well are of the impact that members of the armed forces can face during and post service.

"We chose Veterans with Dogs as our charity for the triathlon fundraiser as it covers everything our team is passionate about – dogs, veterans and mental health. We strongly believe there should be so much more awareness to the service and sacrifices that veterans make for us and so much more help available to them."

"The triathlon itself was the most superb event. Blenheim Palace is so beautiful, and the weather was picture perfect. It was the first time any of us had taken part in a triathlon and the camaraderie was the best. All but one person competed as part of a relay team so there was such excitement waiting for your team mate to get back from their swim, bike or run. Everyone was super friendly, so the atmosphere was nothing but positive. We all loved the medal too! There is definitely going to be a large percentage of the group that signs up for more triathlons in the future."

"And best of all we exceeded our fundraising target of £1500 by 73%! Next time we will try for double the target!"
