Volunteer Fundraising Ambassador

- Promoting VWD by sharing our fundraising messages with the public and local businesses
- Helping to initiate, promote, and deliver local fundraising events, raffles, challenges and campaigns
- Acting as an ambassador for Veterans With Dogs in your community and networks
- Placing collection boxes in local businesses and appropriate sites
- Managing the administration of collection boxes — collecting funds and keeping site records
- Working from home and arranging your own hours (ideally a couple a week)
- Friendly, engaging, and comfortable talking to the public
- Happy to work as part of a team or independently
- Numerate, able to keep basic financial records, and confident handling money
- Comfortable representing VWD in public
- No formal qualifications required — knowledge of your local community or charity work is a bonus
- Enhancing your CV and gaining hands‑on fundraising experience in the voluntary sector
- Building confidence communicating with a wide range of people
- Developing organisational skills
- Engaging with your local community
- Making a genuine impact supporting assistance dogs and veterans
