In Memory of Jack Kirmond, Supporting Mental Health and Assistance Dogs

Casey Chalkley is taking the ultimate leap of faith to raise funds for Veterans With Dogs. This daring skydive, scheduled for the end of July 2024, is a heartfelt tribute to her late fiancé, Jack Kirmond, who tragically lost his life in August 2022.

Jack's Story: Courage and Resilience

Jack courageously served in the army for seven years, but his service came at a great cost. He suffered from severe PTSD, a condition that affects many veterans. Despite the challenges, Jack found solace in their beloved dog, Ralph. Although Ralph was not a trained assistance dog, he provided Jack with a sense of purpose and comfort during his darkest days.

A Legacy of Hope

Casey's fundraiser aims to make a difference in the lives of other veterans who have served their country and struggle with PTSD. Veterans With Dogs is the UK's leading organisation that trains and provides assistance dogs exclusively for current and former members of the British Armed Forces diagnosed with a mental health condition. By supporting this charity, Casey hopes to honour Jack's memory and bring hope to those who need it most.
